- Fiona Merlin
- I have a passion for contemporary realist art and owe much of this to Australian artist Lance McNeill whom I studied under whenever I got the chance in the '1990's and 2000's. Between 2009 and 2015 I had the great fortune to participate in some Summer Workshops delivered by the Angel Academy in Florence. In 2019, I undertook some online landscape painting modules delivered through Deborah Paris's Landscape Atelier. I offer monthly classes to share the joy and learnings in regional Victoria.
The smell and flavours of an opened madarin adds a special zest to a frosty winter's morning. Someone told me that the smell of citrus in the home invokes a mood of cheerfulness. It does to the studio too.
