Native Fuchsia, Correa Reflexa
Many Australian wildflowers are small and require closer examination to appreciate their beautiful forms and colours. Correas attract the small nectar feeding birds into the garden and provide something for them during winter. I enjoyed completing this little study on a cold, dull day while waiting for paint to dry. I plan to do some more small studies of our native flowers soon as spring should be promising this year after the recent floods.
