The last chance to paint these this year, so a larger study, and too late for the exhibition. Reminded me of one of the sayings of my old master, McNeill - "don't paint for the painted public, paint for the old master who wears brown corduroys'.
I have a passion for contemporary realist art and owe much of this to Australian artist Lance McNeill whom I studied under whenever I got the chance in the '1990's and 2000's. Between 2009 and 2015 I had the great fortune to participate in some Summer Workshops delivered by the Angel Academy in Florence. In 2019, I undertook some online landscape painting modules delivered through Deborah Paris's Landscape Atelier.
I offer monthly classes to share the joy and learnings in regional Victoria.
