The annual Vanilla Slice Triumph competition will move from Ouyen to Merbein next year. Brings memories of a popular, but very occasional tuckshop treat, with its thick icing that always stuck to the paper bag.

- I have a passion for contemporary realist art and owe much of this to Australian artist Lance McNeill whom I studied under whenever I got the chance in the '1990's and 2000's. Between 2009 and 2015 I had the great fortune to participate in some Summer Workshops delivered by the Angel Academy in Florence. In 2019, I undertook some online landscape painting modules delivered through Deborah Paris's Landscape Atelier. I offer monthly classes to share the joy and learnings in regional Victoria.
