The harvest of Navel oranges has begun, and this is an abundance study for a citrus grower here in Sunraysia to celebrate his 50th birthday. The painting is at the second layer stage and needs its finishing details and glazes completed. The fruit-picking bag is a local touch, and its brand is aptly named 'Joey'. A subject worthy of some more studies.... I am still thinking of a title for this one.
