Exhibition Opening

The opening night for my 'Food For Thought' exhibition was extremely well supported.
Approximately 120 family and friends attended, Kathy Potter performed 'Welcome to Country' and Russ Gittins opened the exhibition. I was truly touched by their speeches and the feedback about the works. I am stunned at how many have sold, 27 so far, and I think it is a heartening sign for realist painters, especially given the current economic climate.
Geoff Brown did a fantastic job in hanging the 42 paintings. Garry Jones and Bob Merlin provided great support in developing the letterhead, website and catalogues.
