Eucalyptus Woodwardi, or Lemon Yellow Gum is a West Australian species with a graceful weeping habit and white wax on its stems ( nature's Zinc Cream). It grows well in our dry neighbourhood, and is full of bountiful blooms during winter, and for that is well guarded by the Wattle Birds. This was hectic to paint as the blooms dry quickly.
