Eucalyptus Caesia, Silver Princess

The large flowers of this West Australian species hang down on a tree with a straggly habit. The stems and buds are covered in a light white wax to protect them from desiccation. The flowers hold a generous volume of nectar. It is hard to do their beauty justice.

Food For Thought

This is the title piece for my first sole exhibition which will be opened at Stefano's Gallery 25 on December 16th at 6 p.m. and will run until January 11th. The tie is the old Merbein High School tie, which some locals may recognise.

'His Final Fleece"


Making slow progress with this challenging subject. I am happy with the ram's skull sitting back in the half light. The fleece is more complex that I initially expected.
