Zinnias

Oil on fine linen on board, 16 x 20 inches
Husband Bob has grown some beautiful zinnias this year. They look like they would be easy to paint. No such thing- deceptively complex, and they twist and turn in the vase. In the language of flowers they represent 'thoughts of absent friends'. Must have another turn of painting zinnias. Hans Heysen was a master painter of zinnias and he did a few studies of them until they gave their secrets up to him. AVAILABLE
